the cure Tribute Band
The obsCURE treedt sinds eind 2014 op in binnen- en buitenland en wordt beschouwd als één van de Cure tribute bands die het meest authentiek de echte weet te benaderen. Een optreden van the obsCURE moet je niet enkel horen, maar ook zien en voelen. Ondertussen speelden ze al op verschillende festivals, waren ze op de radio en passeerden ze in 2021 ook in Belgium’s Got Talent.

“the obsCURE” started end of 2014 and is considered to be one of the best the Cure tribute bands out there.
Not only do you get the music of the Cure, you also get a voice which comes close to the real Robert Smith, but that’s not all: also visually the band does everything possible to give the audience a complete experience.

G.U.S.T.
raw energy (crossover grunge, metal, rock)
G.U.S.T. (op zijn Engels...maar Gust voor de makkers) zijn 3 kameraden uit regio Turnhout. Na wat jammen in andere bands was het tijd om met wat nieuwe riffs te vozen. Sinds zomer 2021 maken ze de podia onveilig met hun energetische mix van grung, rock, metal. Deze gasten kunnen knallen en jullie laten zweten. Referenties: 90’s guitarrock (denk Soundgarden, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Brutus,…)

A SLICE OF LIFE
post-punk - alternative rock - new wave - gothrock
Deze Belgische post-punk band zet met 6 een sound neer die je kan omschrijven als emotioneel, nostalgisch, donker, geladen maar ook speels, ruw en punky. De vlag Post-Punk dekt dan ook de lading niet helemaal, maar komt het best in de buurt om deze mix van rock, new wave, post punk, gothrock, garagerock,… te omschrijven.
Het debuutalbum “Restless” haalde de nationale pers en ze speelden al op grote festivals als W-Festival, Sinner’s Day, Wave Gothic Treffen Leipzig.
6 muzikale vrienden, geen backtracks, geen drummachines: dit is de real live stuff.

Belgian six-piece "A Slice Of Life" mixes elements of post-punk, rock and wave into a distinctive melancholic sound with an unmistakable alternative rock twist. Combining these elements with excellent songwriting they create a varied and often catchy collection of song. The perfect framework for vocalist Dirk Vreys’ distinctive and recognizable voice and his authentic and emotional lyrics.
All this results into an energetic live band as well. So far they played both in smaller clubs as on bigger festivals like W-Festival, Gothic Treffen Leipzig, Sinner's Day,...
Their debutalbum "Restless" (2018) was acclaimed very well in both national and international press. In 2022 they will release their 2nd album which pushes the band's sound beyond its previous boundaries.
SHORTY JETSON AND THE LEFTHANDS
Southern Rock - Americana - Blues - Rock
Shorty Jetson is een Belgische muzikant actief sinds 2016 als live act en recording artiest. Hij speelde reeds in Amerika, Australië, Denenmarken, Engeland, België, Nederland, Duitsland, Frankrijk, Italië en Spanje.
Waar zijn leerschool begon bij Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Chuck Berry en Hank Williams zijn bij “Shorty Jetson And The Lefthands” meer sporen te vinden van Eagles, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers en Fleetwood Mac.
Enkele singles waren al op de radio te horen: "Talk about it" (radio 1), "Walk and let it go" en "Pictures" (radio 2, radio Willy).
Een optreden van deze 5 koppige Kempense band staat gerant voor een glimlach op je gezicht en een nostalgisch gevoel naar de summer of love van 1969 en de 70’s.
